The music in Tarentino's controversial new western (or as Tarentino calls it "a southern"), Django Unchained is amazing, and I doubt many would be bold enough to say there should have been changes to anything musical in one of the best films of the year.  That being said, this introspective track by Frank takes us to a drumless cinematic world that is also quite beautiful.  This was made for the film but ultimately found itself on the floor of the cutting room.

Alek Fin - Mull EP

As the Gods often appreciate, Alek Fin embraces the negative space in his music as James Blake and Nic Jaar have done.  He dazzles us - creating beautiful, filmic imagery all the while avoiding a cliche drop or the parading synths that have pervaded the EDM scene and in the same moment furrowed the brows of many on Olympus.  That third track especially goes.  Alek Fin is from Thousand Oaks, CA and jus stole your girl.
