Daphni - Mapfumo
Recapping 2011 has been a blast. Hence my flurry of love to all you folks.
Here's one I forgot about til Youtube reminded me of my insanity:
Daphni, better known as Caribou pumped out some succulent textures in '11. Here's a taste.
With this first one we get an incredible reworking of Zimbabwean Legend Thomas Mapfumo's Shumba.
