Cookin’ Soul – The Revolution is Being Televised (Gil Scott-Heron Tribute Mixtape)
The production collective Cookin’ Soul just dropped this tape called The Revolution is Being Televised to show love to Gil Scott-Heron, who died on Friday, May 27. He spent a great deal of his life enslaved to heroine and meth... but some cats call him the godfather of Hip-Hop (Paul Flores said that to me once).
