Notorious BIG x Lana Del Rey - Born Ready To Die

Cleveland producer/DJ and mixtape composer Terry Urban oversaw this mashup album of the illest who ever did it and the rising Lana Del Rey. At first, I was skeptical...but most of the tracks go. The production is eerie and mysterious and along with Del Rey's dark, pitch bending vocals, it complements every classic Biggie verse pretty well. It is definitely worth a listen (or 2). Roll somethin up (or 4) and enjoy.

Lana Del Rey - Video Games (Live on David Letterman)
In the wake of a controversial SNL performance that some labeled the worst in Saturday Night Live history... Lana Del Rey took another shot at the live thing on Letterman. Make your own opinion, but if you ask me... she gets off. Girls like Lana scare me cuz I feel like I'd sell all my possessions and move anywhere with her at anytime. She'd have endless power over me and I would be coo wit it. Dangerous.

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die [Woodkid Remix]
Lana Del Rey - Born To Die [Woodkid Remix] by PurplePR
Great song and in epic fashion... like Woodkid do it. Woodkid AKA Yoann Lemoine is the french dude that did Lana's video for Born To Die, giving this remix some extra legitimacy. Dope to see artists dabble in multiple artistic mediums with success.

Silver Swans - Video Games (Lana Del Rey Cover)

San Francisco's Silver Swans have covered the Lana Del Rey joint. The cold, vibrating backdrop gives this version an actual live pulse as the ghostly vocals are delivered on point. FRESH....and I might bump this over the original.
Lana Del Rey - Yayo
I imagine watching this live in a cigarette-smoke filled lounge, drinking whiskey. "Let me put on a show for you."

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
Here's the official video, conceptualized by Lana herself (per usual) and created by Woodkid. Woodkid is a G... I promise. Peep the video for "Iron" after the jump... and if the sound is familiar... it's from Kendrick Lamar's "Spiteful Chant"

Lana Del Rey – Blue Jeans (Odd Future’s The Internet Remix)
BLUE JEANS Odd Future's The Internet Remix by P5757575757575
Alright... damn... it's cool, but how many remixes of the cleanest joint can muhfuckas make?! At the end of the day no one comes as hard as Lana herself... the video to go with just dusts all these remixes. Anyways... Tyler is screaming over the back of the track so that's cool. If you somehow have missed Lana Del Rey's video for Blue Jeans... it's after the jizza along with a live version she did.

Lana Del Rey - Video Game
This is the single off her upcoming album, which she states will be comprised of a "dark love story seen through hopeful eyes." She calls herself the "Gangster Nancy Sinatra" and she's bad as fuck. Her voice carries an old, dreamy style over low-fi, yet luxuriant instrumentals and her genre is labeled "Hollywood Sadcore. "Think Nina Simone singing Cat Power over a Lil Wayne track." - FlushFashion Interview.
