Paradis captured our hearts with their video for Hémisphère in 2012.
Now we get a slice of their new project and it feels real heavenly. I wish I spoke French right now.

Jacques Renault - Back To You (Paradis Remix)
Parisian duo, Paradis, get loose with this new Jacques Renault track. Paradis have a flair for the longer track; this track clocks in at over nine minutes. Full of crackling synth, hisses, and blaring horns - the fractured architecture of music - their music pulls in the chaos to build the huge emotive landscapes.
“Back To You” is scheduled to drop on January 14 as a 12″, with the digital download coming on January 28. You can also preview the original tune here.

Paradis - Hémisphère
The last Paradis (see their website here) video I posted has been fairly popular so I thought I'd post the video of the A-side of their recent single and give the Parisian duo's single a proper introduction. Here is what the groups label had to say about the recent Je m'ennui/Hémisphère release:
On the two tracks of their second 12", Paradis self-reflect to find an escape hatch away from themselves. The A-Side, "Hémisphère", a macabre story of a lonely guest of life determined to leave everything behind, defies the narrative's convention and captivates with pop melodies and up beats abound. On the B-Side, "Je M'ennuie", lovers settle into late-night melancholic routines soundtracked by a brooding bass line, an achingly affective synth lead, and vocals that grin behind the disaffected front. Ultimately, hope prevails as both tracks beg the listener to leave their headphones behind for the global village's dance floor. From Paris to Cologne, from Buenos Aires to New York, in the words of Michel Polnareff, "On ira tous au Paradis."I've included their début release after the jump.

Paradis - Je m'ennuie
The new video from Paradis is a montage taken from a variety of films. The cinematography can be attributed to Alain Resnais ("Je t'aime, je t'aime" 1968, "Le Chant du styrène" 1958) and Alain Robbe-Grillet ("L'Eden et après" 1970, "N. a pris les dés" 1971).
