Stevie and Sam - Kama Sutra II

Oh you haven't heard yet? Stevie and Sam are without doubts in the on deck circle. Hot off the release of Kama Sutra I and Fix You Remix, comes the latest track, Kama Sutra II and the accompanying visuals. The hype continues to build for the upcoming records Good Winter and Swimsuits. The moment those two records drop, these two dudes are gonna blow up. Quote me on that.

Go get the tracks. Now.

Brain Champagne- Adventures in a Helluvastate

THADWICK TRISTEN TREVOR lll & SWAN COLTRANE - "Brain Champagne" (Official Music Video) from Stephan Gray on Vimeo.

This is the new video from my big brother Thad Turner aka Young TH aka Thadwick Tristen Trevor III and his partner in crime Swan Coltrane.  Man if you haven't heard the mixtape yet it's the best thing Seattle Hip-Hop has produced this year...  The tape transcends the cliche by painting a vivid picture of blowing trees and rapping in a kind of perfected fantasy world.  The two rappers constantly come harder as if they were freestyling on a couch in the middle of a blunt cypher.  If you haven't already been slumpin this one everything will be ok... you can still get the tape, entitled Adventures in a Helluvastate, in it's entirety from their bandcamp: HERE
This is Hip-Hop at it's finest and is maybe the cleanest tape to come out of Seattle in recent memory... without question it is one of the year's best.  Legendary Seattle radio station KEXP charted it at number 1 for a while on their Hip-Hop charts but it is currently at number 2 behind the Beastie Boys new shit.

Mystical

Shabazz Palaces. Seattle, WA. "This video contains footage from the upcoming documentary by Village Beat titled Tough Bond -- a film about kids sniffing glue to survive street life in Kenya's disappearing villages and exploding urban slums."
Raw...

They got a nice smattering of videos on youtube, and there are 4 or 5 mp3's floating out there if you want to get some listening in before their album Black Up drops on Tuesday.
