Erwin Rommel: "The Desert Fox"

Hitler on the right and the man on the left is Erwin Rommel.  Rommel was a Marshall in the German military during WWII. He mostly fought in Africa and his crew was known as the "Ghost Division" because often Hitler and the German powers had no idea where they were exactly.  He was real humane and ignored orders to kill captured enemies.  He was NOT anti-semitic and lightweight hated Hitler.  Later in the war, Rommel was linked to plot to a kill Hitler, he was part of it but never had any intention to murder anyone.  When Hitler found out he threatened him privately because of Rommel's great renown amongst the German people.  He was given a choice between committing suicide or facing the People's Court. Within five minutes he decided to kill himself with the cyanide pill the Nazi's left him.  Hard.
