February 1, 1968... This Associated Press photograph, "General Nguyen Ngoc Loan executing a Viet Cong prisoner in Saigon," won a 1969 Pulitzer prize for its photographer Eddie Adams. Film also exists of the shooting, but owing to the more graphic nature of the film, the photograph is more widely known. Death gotta be easy, cuz life is hard...
is it ethical for the photographer to take the picture and not intervene?

ReplyDeleteit's a difficult job, but i think its important to take those pictures so that others see it and pay attention... it's prolly out of dudes control anyways... realistically. but either way i think it adds to the gnar of the picture
